What does the class include?

All of our Utah concealed carry permit classes are designed as a one stop solution. During your four hour classroom instruction the following will be covered:

  • Fingerprints for the required FBI/State of Utah background check.
  • In depth discussion about Utah firearms law
  • Review of tactical and self defense scenarios
  • Hands on instruction of loading and unloading a firearm
  • Qualities of the right self defense firearm for you
  • How to travel with a firearm
  • Overview of future training options
  • Class costs only $45.00

When you attend a Utah concealed carry class you will be able to get everything done that day. In our class we will walk you through all the paperwork and fingerprint you for your background check. We offer a $15.00 service to take your permit photo and deliver your completed application to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification for processing. When we deliver your application you have nothing left to do and your permit will show up in the mail.

Utah now offers a provisional permit for those 18-20 years old. 18-20 year olds can register for any of our classes to receive the provisional permit. Click here for more info.

What should you expect?

Practical Training

In your class, you will learn proper firearm handling skills, weapon safety, and firearms laws. As part of all of our classes we focus on day to day situtations such as firarms storage, safety around children, and concealed carry.

Knowledgeable Instructors

All of our instuctors are certified by the state of Utah and the NRA. Each instructor is well versed in self defense both inside and outside the home. The knowledge they impart will give you the foundation to feel comfortable carrying your firearm to the places you go.

Everyday Safety

Safety both in the class and out are a top priority for all of our instructors. To ensure your safety, no live ammuntion is permitted in the classroom. We are dedicated to making firearms ownership safe and enjoyable.

Why Utah's Permit

The Utah concealed carry permit is one of the most valuable permits in the US for a several reasons. Honored in over 35 states, the Utah permit allows you to travel concealed throughout most of the nation. The permit only requires a four hour class room firearms familiarity course with no range time required. With new permit fee's at only $53.25 and renewal at $20.00 after 5 years, the permit is inexpensive to both acquire and maintain. Utah now offers a provisional permit for those 18-20 years old.
