After taking the Multi-State CCW/I-1639 course, how do I apply for the Oregon CHL?

Oregon does issue non-resident permits; however, they will only issue them to residents of states that border Oregon. Those states include Washington, California, Idaho, and Nevada. As a Washington resident, you can go to an Oregon sheriff to apply. Be aware that not all Oregon sheriffs participate in the non-resident permitting process. Before you drive to drop off your application in person, you should check the sheriff's website or call ahead. There, they will fingerprint you and help you submit your application.
